Mostarsko proljece (April – June)
Festival „Mostarsko proljece“ is a member of the European
Festival Association. This 45-day festival features a
versatile entertainment program: theatre plays, concerts,
literary events, kid’s entertainment events. More

Melodije Mostara (April)
International festival of music, held each April since 1955,
is one of the most popular music festivals in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Local and regional artists compete for the
Grand Prix Golden Hearth of Mostar. More information

Mostarska liska (April)
International festival of comedy is hosted by the Mostar
National Theatre. It is a competitive event (Velika liska
Prize and Mala liska Prize).
Francophone Theatre Festival (May)
The event is organized by the French Embassy in Bosnia and
Herzegovina in collaboration with the French Institute and
the French Cultural Centre in Mostar. Theatre plays are
performed in French by high school and university students.
Skokovi sa Starog mosta (July)
Leaping from the Stari most Bridge into the Neretva River
dates back to the time the bridge was built. The first
record goes back to 1664. Courageous divers from all over
the world participate in the event. The event takes place
each July.
Mostar World Music Festival (July)
Concerts, workshops, children’s entertainment programs,
culinary and wine events, theatre plays, film screenings and
many, many other entrainment activities are all a part of
this event. The event takes place each July. More

Mostar Blues Festival (July –
August)
Mostar Blues Festival held annually in Mostar celebrates
blues music and it is beating its path towards becoming a
traditional event. More information available at:

Mostarski ljetni festival (July –
August)
Mostar Summer Festival is a combination of several events
primarily aiming at promoting arts (the central part are a
poetry-reading event and a drawings-presentation event where
each year 50 renown and young artists present their works.
Youth Theatre Days – Festival
autorske poetike (August – September)
The Mostar Youth Theatre hosts this festival since 1975. In
addition to a festival programme, there is an unconventional
education academy for theatre artists. More information

Dani filma (September or October)
Film Festival “Dani filma” gathers numerous film makers and
features films from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The
festival is a non-competitive event.
