From Sarajevo follow E 762 and E73. The
distance Sarajevo -Kakanj is 54 km or 50 minutes of
driving, and then Kakanj -Ponijeri, is another 19 km.
Ponijeri is between 1144 to 1200 meters above see level and
is a mountain picnic and popular winter recreation area.
Alternative route is from Sarajevo to Zavidovici,
(distance: 128 km or approx. 2 hours of driving), and then
Zavidovici Kamenica. Kamenica is recreation/picnic area 15
km from city and it is located by river Gostovic.
