To the north and southeast are the peaks of Vran and Cvrsnica. Ploca on Cvrsnica is the highest peak in Herzegovina at 2,226m.

The park itself is free of mines with well-marked trails. It's best to visit the hotel by the ski lifts at Risovac. Information about the park, its history and the Franciscan monastery that is located within is available in the park and is open to visitors. The Risovac Ski Centre is located at the foot of Vran and Cvrsnica mountains. Ski centre has three ski trails with two ski lifts. A mountain hut on Cvrsnica Mt. is located on the Veliki Vilinac peak (1,961m). More information can be found at: www.vilinac.ba.

Houses here are traditional shepherd homes with straw roofs that are mainly used during the spring and summer seasons as winter is harsh and cold in these parts.
