This tiny Herzegovina pilgrim site has the largest accommodation capacity in all of BiH. With over 15,000 beds available in both B&B style and hotels there is no shortage of good quality places to overnight.
‘Pansions’ usually range from 15-50 euros per night. Hotels generally run from 35 – 70 euros per night with breakfast included. Most places include sat tv, AC, and mini-bar. The more expensive hotels, 4-5 star, will range from 75-125 euros per night and offer all of the luxuries of western facilities.
The smaller pansions or B&B’s have a nice family touch to them. One can often have nice experiences with the family themselves, drinking coffee or wine on the terrace with them. Local B&B owners are usually quite friendly and will go out of their way to help you on your trip.
Depending on the season, finding a place to stay may be very difficult in Medugorje. Make reservations well in advance around any Catholic holidays. Medugorje hoteliers and pansion owners all have websites, email addresses and speak at least one foreign language.
